Text message consent during telephone booking

Effective September 7, 2026. Before sending the first rental text, the office reads this disclosure and asks for the customer's answer:

May Dumpsters for Rent LLC text this number your rental agreement, payment link, delivery and pickup updates? Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is optional and is not required to rent.

The customer answers yes or no. Only after a yes does the office select the booking checkbox: “Customer agreed after I read the text permission above.” The app stores the permission wording, date and time, and the staff account recording consent. An unchecked box does not grant consent. Providing a phone number or paying an invoice alone does not grant text permission.

Messages and choices

Texts relate to the customer's dumpster rental: rental agreement and payment links, delivery and pickup updates, rental reminders and extension options, and rental charge notifications. Message frequency varies with rental activity. This program does not send marketing messages. Reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for assistance. Customers may rent without agreeing to texts and may use email or contact the office instead.
